MFA BU Studio 1

This book was my final for Studio 1. We were asked to design a book that contained 100 things that influenced us. I wanted to divide the book into three sections: the three cultures that have influenced my life. My first chapter is my Spanish culture, the second chapter is when I lived in the Netherlands, and the third chapter is my years in the US. My goal for this book is to feel personal and highlight the cultural mix that makes up identity. The illustrations throughout the book are supposed to represent ink and water mixing, a metaphor for all the different cultures that have influenced me and my identity.
