REDESIGNED BOOK COVERS

In this series of book covers, I redesigned three books by Colleen Hoover. Even though these books are about romance, they have a dark atmosphere to them, which is an element I wanted to incorporate into the book covers. For the style of the design, I wanted them to have a hand-drawn feel to them. Through the dark, earthy color scheme, I wanted the book covers to have a gloomy atmosphere. In terms of the typography of the covers, unity is created within the designs through the combination of the vertical and horizontal text.
